I love Pretty Little Liars and even though the plot is so gripping, I'm quite often distracted by the amazing fashion. Its slowly becoming as good as Gossip Girl for the use of fashion, hair and make-up from episode to episode and on different characters.
Pretty Little Liars is an American television programme based on the book series of the same name by Sara Shephard where: 'four friends band together against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal their darkest secrets, whilst unraveling the mystery of the murder of their best friend' (IMDB)
Pretty Little Liars is somewhere between Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives = addictive viewing.
I loved the outfit that Hanna (Ashley Benson) wore to visit the mental hospital in Series 3, Episode 3 'Kingdom of the Blind' (19/6/12). How these girls would have the time or energy to put such flawless and well thought out outfits together when they're constantly fighting against A is beyond me.

The combination of a peach blazer with a casual graphic/Aztec style print top and smart shorts is a great mix between casual and smart and the use of colour is not too much. This would make a great holiday outfit or a smart way to dress in the summer.
Clockwise from top left:
Blazer: Structured Blazer in Coral - TopShop - £65.00
Body: Only Medala Body - Republic - £16.00
Wedges: Black Cross Strap Wedges - New Look - £24.99
Bag: Mischa Marie Classic Tote Bag - New Look - £49.00 SALE
Shorts: Pleated Woven Shorts - Forever 21 - £10.50
I love that peachy/orange blazer but the price is ridiculous even for TopShop! Primark at the moment have similar blazers for under £20 in pastel colours so they're probably a more cost effective to embrace the trend. The shorts, however, are an amazing bargain for just over a tenner and would be perfect for summer and holidays as they could be worn casually on the beach or smart in the evening. The loose fit will keep you cool and is also so flattering. After doing this post I'm inspired to hunt out a similar pair I've owned for ages and pair with a pastel blazer and a patterned top. The shoes are beautiful but could easily be substituted for flat tan or black sandals with a similar criss cross design (like these, these or these). The Mischa Barton bag is such a cute but classic shape and a great colour that could work for all seasons but isn't too 'matchy matchy' with the colour scheme.
