I'm going out in Newcastle tonight to celebrate my birthday with a few friends. We haven't been out together since we broke up for summer at university so it should be a great night.
All my false eyelashes have seen better days as I just clean them and wear them over and over again, so I decided it was time for a new pair. I wanted something long and feathery so these Katy Perry Lashes by Eylure in 'Oh, Honey' were a perfect match. They also seemed very similar to the new Cheryl Cole lashes by Eylure.
Katy Perry Lashes - Created by Eyelure in Oh, Honey: £5.95 (Boots)
I've been dying to try Airbrush Legs by Sally Hansen as I always hear good things about it from my friends. Apparently it's like tights in a can and will cover any imperfections on your legs a bit like a foundation so I'm going to be brave and not wear tights tonight and hopefully this will give me a bit of a confidence boost. The can says it's waterproof so with the stormy weather at the moment, I might get to test that claim out!
Airbrush Legs by Sally Hansen in Medium Glow: £10.29 (Boots)
I use a lot of dry shampoo in my hair so I decided to pick up another bottle of this shampoo by Boots that helps to remove product build up. I've had this before when it was in different packaging and was very impressed by it.
Build Up Removal Shampoo by Boots Expert: £3.29 (Boots)
My Bobble bottle is very well used and the current filter I have in it at the moment has cracked (never happened before) but it needed to be replaced anyway so picked up a pink filter. A Bobble bottle is a bottle that filters clean tap water as you drink, which is great if like me you live in an area where the tap water tastes unpleasant and metallic. The filter needs to be replaced every few months.
Filter for Bobble Bottle in Pink: £7.00 (Boots)
Lastly the shoes I've been wearing for the past couple of days, although gorgeous to look at, are starting to rub the backs of my feet and it's starting to form a blister. Boots were having a buy one get one half price on all footcare products so I decided to get two packs of blister plasters as they're usually £3.99-£5.99 for a pack of 5. I got this variety as they're made to be worn on the heel where the back of the shoe rubs on your feet.
Compeed Blister Patches for Heels: £5.99 for 5 plasters (Boots)
As I spent over £35.00 I could use one of the advantage card vouchers that came in the post to get £3.50 worth of points #winning.
I also got some lovely and very generous presents from a friend and they're truly beautiful MAC products so I'm going to use those tonight and write a post about those tomorrow.
